Safety Glass Price in Slovenia (CIF) - 2023
In September 2023, the average safety glass import price amounted to $45.3 per square meter, shrinking by -19.8% against the previous month. Over the period under review, import price indicated a notable increase from September 2022 to September 2023: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +2.7% over the last twelve-month period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on September 2023 figures, safety glass import price increased by +33.9% against June 2023 indices. The growth pace was the most rapid in August 2023 an increase of 48% month-to-month. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $56.4 per square meter, and then declined significantly in the following month.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was France ($187 per square meter), while the price for Vietnam ($8.0 per square meter) was amongst the lowest.
From September 2022 to September 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Germany (+12.2%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Safety Glass Price in Slovenia (FOB) - 2023
In September 2023, the average safety glass export price amounted to $41.6 per square meter, dropping by -25.4% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in April 2023 when the average export price increased by 58% m-o-m. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $66.9 per square meter. From May 2023 to September 2023, the the average export prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Germany ($117 per square meter), while the average price for exports to Romania ($17.6 per square meter) was amongst the lowest.
From September 2022 to September 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Serbia (+9.1%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Safety Glass Imports in Slovenia
In 2022, approx. 2.1M square meters of safety glass were imported into Slovenia; with an increase of 7.3% on the previous year. The total import volume increased at an average annual rate of +8.8% from 2019 to 2022; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period.
