Semiconductor Device Price in Germany (FOB) - 2022
In 2022, the average semiconductor device export price amounted to $1.2 per unit, declining by -8.9% against the previous year. Overall, the export price continues to indicate a mild descent. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 an increase of 30%. The export price peaked at $1.8 per unit in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was the United States ($3.2 per unit), while the average price for exports to Tunisia ($0.2 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Austria (+5.1%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the average semiconductor device import price amounted to $2.2 per unit, declining by -19.4% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, showed a perceptible expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 when the average import price increased by 53%. The import price peaked at $4.5 per unit in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.
