Over the period under review, the export price continues to indicate a abrupt setback. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in July 2023 when the average export price increased by 137% month-to-month. The export price peaked at $206 per unit in September 2022; however, from October 2022 to September 2023, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In September 2023, the country with the highest price was Malaysia ($147 per unit), while the average price for exports to Kuwait ($57.4 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
