The average shelled walnut import price stood at $4,947 per ton in 2022, surging by 39% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, recorded a drastic downturn. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the peak figure at $13,385 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
