In April 2023, the average shrimp import price amounted to $11,509 per ton, increasing by 3% against the previous month. In general, the import price saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in February 2023 an increase of 23% month-to-month. The import price peaked in April 2023.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Poland ($31,212 per ton), while the price for the Netherlands ($8,849 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

The average shrimp export price stood at $8,036 per ton in 2022, declining by -9.9% against the previous year.
