In 2022, the average silicates; sodium metasilicates export price amounted to $590 per ton, with an increase of 43% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The export price peaked at $620 per ton in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
Average prices varied noticeably for the major export markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Moldova ($617 per ton), while the average price for exports to Russia stood at $590 per ton.
