Silver Jewelry Price in Ukraine (CIF) - 2022
The average silver jewelry import price stood at $2,604,024 per ton in 2022, which is down by -11.2% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 an increase of 27%. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $2,934 per kg, and then shrank in the following year.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was India ($4,551,741 per ton), while the price for Hong Kong SAR ($962,864 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by India (+5.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the average silver jewelry export price amounted to $2,797,465 per ton, shrinking by -10.1% against the previous year. Overall, the export price saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 when the average export price increased by 336% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs at $3,113,108 per ton in 2021, and then dropped in the following year.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Belarus ($4,876,000 per ton), while the average price for exports to Kyrgyzstan ($325,400 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Switzerland (+41.8%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Silver Jewelry Imports in Ukraine
For the third consecutive year, Ukraine recorded decline in supplies from abroad of silver jewelry, which decreased by -39.8% to 1.9 tons in 2022. Overall, imports saw a precipitous contraction. The smallest decline of -6.2% was in 2020.
