Sleeping Bag Price in Uganda (CIF) - 2022
The average sleeping bag import price stood at $12 per unit in 2022, with a decrease of -32.6% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, enjoyed temperate growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2019 an increase of 68%. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $25 per unit. From 2020 to 2022, the average import prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the UK ($47 per unit), while the price for Australia ($0.9 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the UK (+18.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Sleeping Bag Price in Uganda (FOB) - 2022
In 2022, the average sleeping bag export price amounted to $75 per unit, surging by 79% against the previous year. In general, the export price showed a significant expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 when the average export price increased by 105% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs in 2022 and is expected to retain growth in years to come.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Morocco ($175 per unit), while the average price for exports to Burundi ($18 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
