Soups Price in Lithuania (FOB) - 2023
The average soups export price stood at $4,602 per ton in September 2023, surging by 12% against the previous month. Overall, the export price showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in January 2023 an increase of 17% month-to-month. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the maximum at $4,985 per ton in July 2023; however, from August 2023 to September 2023, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Estonia ($7,012 per ton), while the average price for exports to Germany ($1,729 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From September 2022 to September 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Japan (+8.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average soups import price stood at $4,901 per ton in September 2023, rising by 2% against the previous month. Over the period from September 2022 to September 2023, it increased at an average monthly rate of +3.2%. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in October 2022 when the average import price increased by 33% against the previous month. The import price peaked at $5,675 per ton in July 2023; however, from August 2023 to September 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.
