The average spices; mixtures import price stood at $3,278 per ton in June 2023, picking up by 5% against the previous month. In general, the import price, however, saw a mild descent. The growth pace was the most rapid in November 2022 an increase of 22% m-o-m. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $4,185 per ton. From December 2022 to June 2023, the average import prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In June 2023, the country with the highest price was the Netherlands ($4,622 per ton), while the price for Denmark ($1,175 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by India (+2.3%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.

The average spices; mixtures export price stood at $5,630 per ton in June 2023, reducing by -20.5% against the previous month. In general, the export price saw a mild reduction. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in December 2022 when the average export price increased by 23% against the previous month. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $7,518 per ton. From January 2023 to June 2023, the the average export prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was the Netherlands ($7,003 per ton), while the average price for exports to Germany ($1,643 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the UK (+2.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.
