In July 2023, the average spices; mixtures export price amounted to $3,683 per ton, increasing by 7.8% against the previous month. Overall, the export price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the peak figure at $3,859 per ton in August 2022; however, from September 2022 to July 2023, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Canada ($6,610 per ton), while the average price for exports to Ghana ($1,576 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Iraq (+6.3%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
