In 2022, the average spices; mixtures import price amounted to $2,346 per ton, falling by -8.6% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price continues to indicate a noticeable curtailment. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 when the average import price increased by 39% against the previous year. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the maximum at $3,327 per ton in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Turkey ($3,714 per ton), while the price for Syrian Arab Republic ($106 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the United Arab Emirates (+1.9%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

Over the period under review, the export price, however, recorded a perceptible setback. The export price peaked at $9,842 per ton in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Turkey ($27,708 per ton), while the average price for exports to the UK ($3,854 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the Netherlands (+42.5%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.
