In January 2022, the average spices; mixtures import price amounted to $5,127 per ton, picking up by 24% against the previous month. In general, the import price saw a relatively flat trend pattern. As a result, import price reached the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Austria ($8,854 per ton), while the price for Poland ($4,081 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From January 2021 to January 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Austria (+2.8%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.

In 2022, overseas shipments of spices; mixtureses decreased by -12.5% to 384 tons, falling for the second consecutive year after two years of growth. In general, exports, however, continue to indicate a significant expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 with an increase of 129%. As a result, the exports reached the peak of 466 tons. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of the exports remained at a somewhat lower figure.
