In 2022, the average spices; turmeric (curcuma) import price amounted to $3,969 per ton, increasing by 59% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, recorded a slight setback. The import price peaked at $4,431 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.
