The average sulphates; of aluminium export price stood at $3,505 per ton in July 2023, remaining constant against the previous month. Over the period from July 2022 to July 2023, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.5%. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in April 2023 when the average export price increased by 6% month-to-month. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $3,598 per ton. From May 2023 to July 2023, the the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.

Average prices varied noticeably for the major foreign markets. In July 2023, the country with the highest price was Germany ($3,547 per ton), while the average price for exports to Austria ($3,454 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Spain (+2.1%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average sulphates; of aluminium import price stood at $337 per ton in 2022, rising by 11% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, showed a abrupt decline.
