The average sweet biscuit import price stood at $1,308 per ton in March 2022, with a decrease of -23.2% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in April 2021 an increase of 11% month-to-month. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $1,774 per ton in December 2021; however, from January 2022 to March 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
