Umbrella Price in Kuwait (CIF) - 2022
In 2022, the average umbrella import price amounted to $7.7 per unit, shrinking by -13.6% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, saw resilient growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 when the average import price increased by 55% against the previous year. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $8.9 per unit, and then declined in the following year.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was China ($15 per unit), while the price for Pakistan ($1.2 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by China (+17.7%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the average umbrella export price amounted to $4 per unit, increasing by 7.2% against the previous year. In general, the export price saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2014 an increase of 275% against the previous year. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $17 per unit. From 2015 to 2022, the average export prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Denmark ($61 per unit), while the average price for exports to Bahrain ($0.9 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
