Vegetable Puree Price in Belarus (CIF) - 2022
In 2022, the average vegetable puree import price amounted to $3,056 per ton, remaining stable against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, showed a deep slump. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2017 when the average import price increased by 12% against the previous year. The import price peaked at $5,855 per ton in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Poland ($4,743 per ton), while the price for Armenia ($1,034 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Poland (-1.1%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.

The average vegetable puree export price stood at $2,305 per ton in 2022, with an increase of 46% against the previous year. In general, export price indicated a strong expansion from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +6.1% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. As a result, the export price reached the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Moldova ($3,465 per ton), while the average price for exports to Russia ($1,854 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Moldova (+16.7%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Vegetable Puree Imports in Belarus
For the third consecutive year, Belarus recorded decline in overseas purchases of vegetable puree, which decreased by -4% to 271 tons in 2022. Over the period under review, imports faced a deep reduction. The smallest decline of -1% was in 2020.
