The average waxes; artificial, prepared export price stood at $2,597 per ton in July 2023, reducing by -3.3% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in January 2023 when the average export price increased by 9.1% m-o-m. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $2,911 per ton. From February 2023 to July 2023, the the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In July 2023, the country with the highest price was Russia ($3,507 per ton), while the average price for exports to Italy ($1,845 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Austria (+6.1%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the United States (+1.7%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
