Waxes; Artificial, Prepared Price in Uzbekistan (FOB) - 2023
In May 2023, the average waxes; artificial, prepared export price amounted to $1,132 per ton, rising by 13% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in November 2022 an increase of 21% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the maximum at $1,206 per ton in August 2022; however, from September 2022 to May 2023, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Russia ($2,322 per ton), while the average price for exports to Turkey ($914 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From May 2022 to May 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Italy (+0.6%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.

In 2022, the average waxes; artificial, prepared import price amounted to $2,108 per ton, dropping by -23.7% against the previous year. In general, the import price saw a deep reduction.
