Wheat Bran Price in Morocco (CIF) - 2022
In December 2022, the average wheat bran import price amounted to $230 per ton, picking up by 6.9% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in October 2022 an increase of 221% m-o-m. The import price peaked at $299 per ton in April 2022; however, from May 2022 to December 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.
Average prices varied noticeably amongst the major supplying countries. In December 2022, the country with the highest price was Angola ($245 per ton), while the price for Congo ($203 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From December 2021 to December 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Gabon (+1.6%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Wheat Bran Price in Morocco (FOB) - 2022
In 2022, the average wheat bran export price amounted to $129 per ton, with an increase of 23% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, saw a abrupt slump.
