Wheat Gluten Price in Belarus (CIF) - 2022
In March 2022, the average wheat gluten import price amounted to $1,299 per ton, falling by -17.1% against the previous month. In general, the import price saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in April 2021 when the average import price increased by 31% m-o-m. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $1,709 per ton. From May 2021 to March 2022, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
As there is only one major supplying country, the average price level is determined by prices for Russia.
From March 2021 to March 2022, the rate of growth in terms of prices for Kazakhstan amounted to +2.5% per month.
Wheat Gluten Price in Belarus (FOB) - 2022
The average wheat gluten export price stood at $1,713 per ton in 2022, approximately mirroring the previous year. Overall, the export price continues to indicate a slight increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 a decrease of 99.9% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the maximum in 2022 and is expected to retain growth in the immediate term.
Average prices varied somewhat for the major foreign markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was the United States ($2,072 per ton), while the average price for exports to Norway ($1,570 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2014 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Turkey (-3.2%).
