Winding Wire Price in Latvia (FOB) - 2022
The average winding wire export price stood at $124,377 per ton in 2022, reducing by -26.5% against the previous year. Overall, export price indicated temperate growth from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +4.7% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, winding wire export price decreased by -39.7% against 2018 indices. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 an increase of 59%. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the peak figure at $206,165 per ton in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was France ($155,776 per ton), while the average price for exports to Estonia ($8,498 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to France (+6.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.
