Winding Wire Price in Uzbekistan (FOB) - 2023
In May 2023, the average winding wire export price amounted to $8,530 per ton, stabilizing at the previous month. In general, the export price showed a pronounced decline. The growth pace was the most rapid in March 2023 when the average export price increased by 33% m-o-m. The export price peaked at $10,894 per ton in May 2022; however, from June 2022 to May 2023, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Average prices varied noticeably for the major overseas markets. In May 2023, the highest price was recorded for prices to Kazakhstan ($9,974 per ton) and Tajikistan ($9,773 per ton), while the average price for exports to Turkey ($8,349 per ton) and Turkmenistan ($8,943 per ton) were amongst the lowest.
From May 2022 to May 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Tajikistan (+1.9%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.

The average winding wire import price stood at $6,935 per ton in 2022, growing by 24% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, showed a abrupt decline. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the peak figure at $12,596 per ton in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
