Wooden Bedroom Furniture Price in the Netherlands (CIF) - 2023
In July 2023, the average wooden bedroom furniture import price amounted to $169 per unit, dropping by -6% against the previous month. Over the last twelve months, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.5%. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in March 2023 when the average import price increased by 16% month-to-month. The import price peaked at $181 per unit in April 2023; however, from May 2023 to July 2023, import prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Germany ($383 per unit), while the price for China ($78.6 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Denmark (+6.3%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Wooden Bedroom Furniture Price in the Netherlands (FOB) - 2023
The average wooden bedroom furniture export price stood at $164 per unit in July 2023, shrinking by -7.2% against the previous month. Over the period from July 2022 to July 2023, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.1%. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in August 2022 when the average export price increased by 29% against the previous month. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $186 per unit. From September 2022 to July 2023, the the average export prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major export markets. In July 2023, the country with the highest price was Belgium ($259 per unit), while the average price for exports to Denmark ($76.0 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Belgium (+6.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Wooden Bedroom Furniture Imports in the Netherlands
In 2022, after three years of growth, there was significant decline in supplies from abroad of wooden furniture of a kind used in the bedroom, when their volume decreased by -23.1% to 2.4M units. Over the period under review, imports continue to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 when imports increased by 14%.
