Wooden Office Furniture Price in the United States (CIF) - 2023
The average wooden office furniture import price stood at $22.8 per unit in July 2023, dropping by -4% against the previous month. In general, the import price continues to indicate a noticeable curtailment. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in January 2023 an increase of 15% month-to-month. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $31.2 per unit in July 2022; however, from August 2022 to July 2023, import prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In July 2023, the country with the highest price was Mexico ($142 per unit), while the price for Lithuania ($6.4 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Mexico (+5.9%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the average wooden office furniture export price amounted to $166 per unit, rising by 24% against the previous year. In general, the export price posted a strong expansion. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 when the average export price increased by 99% against the previous year. The export price peaked in 2022 and is likely to see gradual growth in the near future.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Canada ($635 per unit), while the average price for exports to Costa Rica ($13 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Canada (+23.8%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
