Cameroon (X tons) ranks second in terms of the total exports with a X% share, followed by Namibia (X%) and Kenya (X%). The following exporters - Zambia (X tons), Tanzania (X tons) and Zimbabwe (X tons) - each finished at an X% share of total exports.

Exports from South Africa increased at an average annual rate of X% from 2012 to 2023. At the same time, Namibia (X%), Zambia (X%), Kenya (X%), Cameroon (X%) and Tanzania (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Namibia emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in Africa, with a CAGR of X% from 2012-2023. By contrast, Zimbabwe (X%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. South Africa (X p.p.), Cameroon (X p.p.), Namibia (X p.p.), Kenya (X p.p.), Zambia (X p.p.) and Tanzania (X p.p.) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the total exports, while Zimbabwe saw its share reduced by X% from 2012 to 2023, respectively.

In value terms, malt imports soared to $X in 2023. Total imports indicated a pronounced increase from 2012 to 2023: its value increased at an average annual rate of X% over the last eleven-year period.
