Ginger Market Size in ASEAN

Thailand represented the major exporting country with an export of about X tons, which amounted to X% of total exports. Myanmar (X tons) held a X% share (based on physical terms) of total exports, which put it in second place, followed by Indonesia (X%) and Vietnam (X%). Malaysia (X tons) took a minor share of total exports.

From 2012 to 2023, average annual rates of growth with regard to ginger exports from Thailand stood at X%. As a result, imports reached the peak of X tons. From 2020 to 2023, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 with an increase of X% against the previous year. Imports by Country

Malaysia was the main importing country with an import of about X tons, which accounted for X% of total imports. Vietnam (X tons) took the second position in the ranking, followed by Singapore (X tons), Thailand (X tons) and Indonesia (X tons). All these countries together held approx. X% share of total imports. Brunei Darussalam (X tons) and Myanmar (X tons) took a relatively small share of total imports.
