The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2014 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. Kyrgyzstan dominates exports structure, accounting for X cubic meters, which was approx. X% of total exports in 2023. Kazakhstan (X cubic meters) followed a long way behind the leaders.

Kyrgyzstan was also the fastest-growing in terms of the roundwood exports, with a CAGR of X% from 2012 to 2023. Kazakhstan (X%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. From 2012 to 2023, the share of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan increased by X and X percentage points, while the shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

The volume of import peaked at X cubic meters in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2023, imports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, roundwood imports shrank modestly to $X in 2023. Over the period under review, imports continue to indicate a slight increase.
