Clove Market Size in Eastern Asia

The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 when exports increased by X%. The volume of export peaked at X tons in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2023, the exports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, clove exports shrank dramatically to $X in 2023. In general, exports, however, posted resilient growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports reached the maximum at $X in 2022, and then contracted markedly in the following year.

In 2023, China (X tons) was the major exporter of cloves, achieving X% of total exports. It was distantly followed by Hong Kong SAR (X tons), achieving an X% share of total exports.

As a result, imports reached the peak of X tons. From 2021 to 2023, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.
