The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 when imports increased by X%. As a result, imports attained the peak of X cubic meters. From 2019 to 2023, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

Poland was the major importer of wood-based panels in Eastern Europe, with the volume of imports accounting for X cubic meters, which was near X% of total imports in 2023. The Czech Republic (X cubic meters) ranks second in terms of the total imports with a X% share, followed by Slovakia (X%), Russia (X%), Lithuania (X%), Romania (X%) and Hungary (X%).

Poland was also the fastest-growing in terms of the wood-based panels imports, with a CAGR of X% from 2012 to 2023. At the same time, Slovakia (X%) and the Czech Republic (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Romania, Lithuania and Hungary experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. By contrast, Russia (X%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period.
