Exports in the EU

After two years of growth, overseas shipments of antibiotics decreased by X% to X tons in 2022. Over the period under review, exports recorded a pronounced slump. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 when exports increased by X%. The volume of export peaked at X tons in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, antibiotic exports amounted to $X in 2022. Overall, exports continue to indicate a perceptible downturn.
