Exports from Slovenia

In 2022, the amount of wine exported from Slovenia skyrocketed to X litres, increasing by X% compared with the previous year. Overall, exports saw a prominent expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 when exports increased by X%. The exports peaked in 2022 and are likely to see steady growth in the near future.

In value terms, wine exports rose rapidly to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, total exports indicated strong growth from 2012 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of X% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, exports increased by X% against 2017 indices. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2014 when imports increased by X%. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X. From 2015 to 2022, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.

Imports by Country

In 2022, North Macedonia (X litres) constituted the largest wine supplier to Slovenia, with a X% share of total imports. Moreover, wine imports from North Macedonia exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Italy (X litres), twofold. The third position in this ranking was taken by Hungary (X litres), with a X% share.
