Antisera Price in Croatia (CIF) - 2022
In 2022, the average antisera import price amounted to $1,812,013 per ton, surging by 55% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price enjoyed a buoyant increase. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2014 when the average import price increased by 77% against the previous year. The import price peaked at $2,425,390 per ton in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Hungary ($8,613,808 per ton), while the price for Austria ($644,800 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Slovenia (+15.6%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Antisera Price in Croatia (FOB) - 2022
The average antisera export price stood at $1,141,230 per ton in 2022, shrinking by -13.6% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, continues to indicate a buoyant expansion. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2014 when the average export price increased by 147% against the previous year. The export price peaked at $1,364,107 per ton in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was the United States ($2,270,477 per ton), while the average price for exports to Slovenia ($183,031 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Singapore (+10.6%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Antisera Imports in Croatia
In 2022, overseas purchases of antisera and other blood fractions decreased by -41.1% to 266 tons for the first time since 2018, thus ending a three-year rising trend. Overall, imports, however, showed a buoyant expansion. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 with an increase of 56%.
In value terms, antisera imports dropped to $483M in 2022. Over the period under review, total imports indicated perceptible growth from 2019 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of +2.9% over the last three years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, imports decreased by -35.8% against 2020 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 with an increase of 70%. As a result, imports attained the peak of $752M. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

Antisera Exports in Croatia

In value terms, antisera exports fell to $337M in 2022. Over the period under review, exports, however, showed a abrupt shrinkage.
