In 2022, the average export price for fresh or chilled cabbage lettuce amounted to $839 per ton, declining by -12.7% against the previous year. Overall, the export price continues to indicate a noticeable downturn. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 an increase of 12%. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs at $1,162 per ton in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
