The average wood-based panels export price stood at $647 per cubic meter in 2022, growing by 8.4% against the previous year. In general, the export price saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 an increase of 11%. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the maximum in 2022 and is expected to retain growth in the immediate term.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was the United States ($1,275 per cubic meter), while the average price for exports to Poland ($374 per cubic meter) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Denmark (+4.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average wood-based panels import price stood at $570 per cubic meter in 2022, surging by 12% against the previous year. Over the last decade, it increased at an average annual rate of +2.5%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 an increase of 25% against the previous year. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the peak figure in 2022 and is expected to retain growth in the near future.
