From 2012 to 2023, average annual rates of growth with regard to wheat bran exports from Nigeria stood at X%. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2015 when imports increased by X%. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at X tons in 2022, and then contracted in the following year.

In value terms, wheat bran imports fell to $X in 2023. In general, imports, however, posted a strong increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when imports increased by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure at $X in 2022, and then reduced in the following year.

Imports by Country

In 2023, Senegal (X tons) represented the major importer of wheat bran, constituting X% of total imports. Niger (X tons) took a X% share (based on physical terms) of total imports, which put it in second place, followed by Mauritania (X%). The following importers - Ghana (X tons) and Cabo Verde (X tons) - each finished at a X% share of total imports.

From 2012 to 2023, the biggest increases were recorded for Ghana (with a CAGR of X%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
